Product Description
In order to ensure equipment and personal safety, drilling mud pump is equipped with mud pressure safety valve. Among the existing safety valves, the shear and pin type safety valve is the best and most suitable, which is composed of the valve seat, the valve body, the shell, the shear arm, the shear and the guard.
The mud pressure acts on the lower end face of the valve body, and the valve body is subjected to an upward thrust, which is transmitted from the valve stem to the shear arm, and from the shear arm to the rotating shaft and the shear pin, so that the shear pin is shear. When the thrust fire makes the shear stress on the shear pin greater than the shear strength limit of the shear pin material, the shear pin will be cut off, the shear arm will be pulled upward along the rotating shaft, the valve body will rush away from the valve seat, and the mud will be discharged from the valve seat hole to achieve safety protection.
Each hole on the shear arm corresponds to a mud pressure value, so in the construction, as long as the mud pressure is determined according to the construction technical requirements, the shear pin can be inserted into the corresponding hole.
The precision index of the safety valve is its sensitivity.
