API Hydril Gk Type Annular Bop Blowout Preventer for Oil Drilling Equipment
The 'GK' type Annular BOP is a universal Annular Blowout preventer and it is designed especially for land drilling application. Thie type BOP is safer and more efficient, requiring less maintenance and less downtime. Its rugged, reliable and long-life tapered packing element guarantees positive seal meanwhile strong, simple construction simplifies maintenance.
Building in strict accordance with API 16A specifications, the GK‑type Annular BOP adopts full‑hydraulic driving structure for fast and responsive sealing action. It can effectively seal various sizes of drill pipes, tubing strings and even open wellbore conditions, offering flexible well‑control protection during tripping, drilling and workover operations.
The integrally forged main body features high strength and pressure‑bearing capacity, capable of adapting to harsh on‑site working environments including mud erosion and temperature fluctuation. Optimized internal structural layout reduces friction loss of moving parts, further extending the service cycle of key components.
This unit can be flexibly combined with ram‑type BOP stacks to form a complete wellhead pressure control assembly. Anti‑H₂S corrosion version is optional for sour‑gas oilfield conditions. Featuring easy‑access structural design, field inspection and component replacement can be finished efficiently, minimizing rig downtime. It is dependable well‑safety equipment widely adopted for various on‑shore oil and gas drilling projects.
