Circulation and Well Flushing System (Workover Fluid Circulation, Sand Washing, Well Flushing, and Well Killing Assembly)
Unlike the drilling pump, the workover circulation system is centered on the triplex plunger workover pump, adapted to processes such as well flushing, sand washing, well killing, fluid displacement, circulation, plugging removal, paraffin removal, and wellbore cleaning.
1. Triplex Plunger Workover Pump (Workover Mud Injection Pump)
A high-pressure reciprocating pump dedicated to workover operations — moderate displacement, stable pressure, resistant to sand-bearing sewage and crude oil corrosion. It is the core of the workover circulation system.
Functions: fresh-water well flushing, hot-water well flushing, sand washing and sand carrying, kill-fluid injection, wellbore fluid displacement, squeezing chemical agents, circulation cooling, and plugging removal and clearing — essential equipment for both routine and major workover operations.
2. Suction Piping and Filtration Devices
Draw fresh water, chemical fluids, and kill fluid from storage tanks and water pools, equipped with strainers and filters to prevent large particles from entering the pump body and wearing the plungers and valve assemblies.
3. High-Pressure Discharge Manifold and High-Pressure Hoses
Resistant to high pressure, oil, corrosion, and erosion, delivering high-pressure fluid to the wellhead and withstanding the high-frequency pressure impacts of workover operations.
4. Surge Tank (Stabilizer), Pressure Gauge, and Safety Valve Assembly
Stabilize pump pressure, monitor pressure in real time, and automatically relieve pressure on overpressure, preventing pressure-confined pipe bursts and wellhead overpressure accidents.
5. Storage Tanks, Fresh-Water Tank, and Chemical Tank
Store flushing water, kill fluid, chemical cleaning agents, plugging-removal agents, and acidizing preflush fluid, meeting the mixing and usage needs of various processes.
