Spinner Design Features
A spinner is a special instrument that uses hydraulic pressure or air pressure as the driving force to rotate the kelly stem. When used together with the mousehole and drill pipe elevators, it can automatically complete the pipe connection operation. It is characterized by safety, high efficiency and reduced labor intensity. Besides quick pipe make-up, it can also be used for fishing operations, directional tools, or drilling tools that require low rotary speed.
Our company offers 3 types of spinners in 5 models: claw-type spinner, air-tube spinner, and air-driven make-up machine. The claw-type spinner is divided into two models: XFK-77Q (pneumatic type) and XFK-77Y (hydraulic type); the air-tube spinner is divided into SL160X and SL225X; the air-driven make-up machine model is FSK-15B.
XFK‑77Q(Y) Claw‑Type Spinner
XFK‑77Q(Y)‑type spinner is developed and manufactured referring to advanced US prototypes combined with domestic field conditions. It features compact structure, easy assembly, safe operation and wide application range.
XFK‑77Q(Y) claw‑type spinner is mainly composed of pneumatic or hydraulic drive motor, housing, drive shaft, reduction gear, main gear ring, ratchet jaw, bearings, sealing components, brake ring, brake spring and other parts. The support and swivel lower housing are fastened by bolts; the claws grip the tool joint.
