Complete Overall Structure Assembly of the Drilling Drawworks (Detailed Introduction of All Components)
The entire drilling drawworks is extremely complex in structure, composed of twelve major assemblies — the main frame assembly, drum shaft assembly, power transmission assembly, main braking system, auxiliary braking system, clutch engagement system, cathead shaft assembly, automatic drilling (auto-feed) system, lubrication system, cooling system, hydraulic control system, and sensing/monitoring safety system — comprising over a hundred precision heavy-duty components, all operating in coordination under heavy load.
(I)Drawworks Frame Assembly (Load-Bearing Base of the Whole Machine)
The drawworks frame is an integral high-strength welded heavy steel structure. It is formed by welding thick-walled steel plates into an overall box-type structure, and undergoes integral stress-relief annealing treatment to eliminate heavy-load vibration deformation, weld cracking, and structural fatigue. The frame is extremely rigid, capable of withstanding hundreds of tons of alternating loads, continuous vibration, and start-stop impacts. It is the mounting and load-bearing matrix of all transmission components, braking components, and the drum assembly.
The frame is provided with precision positioning mounting surfaces, bearing housing mounting seats, brake support bases, and vibration-damping limit structures, ensuring the coaxiality, parallelism, and installation accuracy of all high-speed heavy-load components, and guaranteeing that the whole machine does not run off-center, vibrate, or deform during long-term operation.
(II)Drum Shaft Core Assembly (Main Work-Performing Body)
The drum assembly is the core rotating component that directly bears the load, directly performs the work, and wraps the wire rope. It is the most critical, most heavily loaded, and highest-precision core body of the drawworks.
