Control System of Oil Drilling Equipment
The control system is the "brain center" of the entire rig, responsible for centralized operation of all equipment, parameter monitoring, fault warning, and intelligent regulation, ensuring that drilling operations run in a standardized, precise, and safe manner.
1. Driller's Console: The core operating terminal, integrating all operational functions including drawworks control, top drive speed regulation, pump pressure adjustment, brake control, and circulation start/stop. Through joysticks and touch screens, the driller can control the entire drilling process in real time.
2. Intelligent Monitoring System: Collects core drilling parameters in real time — weight on bit, rotary speed, pump pressure, flow rate, torque, well depth, hook load, and others — dynamically displaying downhole conditions.
3. Safety Interlock Control System: Provides overload protection, overpressure alarm, overspeed interlock, and emergency shutdown functions. When equipment is overloaded, downhole conditions are abnormal, or parameters exceed limits, it automatically triggers warnings and locks equipment operation to prevent safety accidents.
4. Electrical Control System: Comprises power distribution cabinets, rectifier cabinets, and variable-frequency control cabinets, coordinating power distribution and electrical protection across all equipment to ensure stable operation of the electrical system.
