A1: You can check the official environmental protection test report, formaldehyde emission data and product certification. Qualified regular boards will have complete inspection documents and clear grade marks.
A2: The conventional mainstream thicknesses are 9mm, 12mm, 15mm and 18mm. 18mm boards are mostly used for cabinet bodies and furniture main structures, while 9mm and 12mm boards are suitable for back panels and decorative partitions.
A3: Board deformation is mainly caused by unqualified pressing process, uneven internal density, inconsistent moisture content, or long-term exposure to humid and high-temperature environments. High-quality boards have balanced density and stable moisture content, with low deformation rate.
A4: Melamine board is a surface-finished board with melamine impregnated paper pressed on the board surface. It is scratch-resistant, wear-resistant, anti-fouling and color-rich, which is the most widely used board for modern custom furniture.
A5: Plywood and high-quality particle board with moisture-proof treatment are the best choices. Ordinary MDF has poor moisture resistance and is not recommended for wet areas.
A6: Regular qualified boards with good installation and daily maintenance can be used for 15 to 30 years. The service life will be shortened if they are exposed to long-term humidity, direct sunlight or heavy pressure.
