II. Core Function Description
The swing reducer is the core transmission component of the upper-car swing system for excavators. It receives input power from the swing motor, reduces motor speed and amplifies output torque via a two-stage planetary gear reduction mechanism to drive the cab and counterweight to swing left and right as a whole. Equipped with an integrated parking brake, it locks the swing platform when the machine stops, preventing sliding on slopes and shaking during operation.

VI. Key Points for Installation & Replacement

- Clean grease and iron filings on the mating surface of swing bearing before installation, fit brand-new gaskets, fasten bolts diagonally in multiple times in accordance with original factory torque specifications.
- After assembly, fill dedicated construction machinery planetary gear oil to specified level. Conduct 30-minute no-load forward and reverse swing running-in, and check for abnormal noise and oil leakage.
