AAAC 123.3, code‑named Azusa, is a concentric‑lay‑stranded bare overhead conductor manufactured from 6201‑T81 aluminum‑magnesium‑silicon alloyGE Cable. Designed for overhead power transmission and distribution networks, this conductor delivers an optimal balance of high tensile strength, good electrical conductivity, excellent anti‑corrosion performance and low‑sag characteristics. Compared with AAC conductors of equal cross‑section, AAAC 123.3 features higher mechanical strength and anti‑creep property; compared with ACSR, it avoids steel‑core corrosion risk and performs much better in coastal, humid and industrial polluted areas. It complies with ASTM B399 and IEC 61089 standards, widely adopted for utility overhead lines, long‑span distribution circuits and grid renovation projects worldwide.
