The upper and lower annular electrode rings each carry seven fixed convex points formed as one integrated structure. Convex point positions are guaranteed by machining accuracy rather than manual adjustment, so every weld point receives identical clamping force after electrode alignment.
All seven weld points share the same transformer secondary circuit and are energized simultaneously. Current is evenly routed to each bump through soft copper strips, producing consistent heat input and uniform nugget height across the full weld ring.
Independent adjustment of pressurization, welding, holding, and rest stages allows the molten core to fully crystallize before electrode release. This dedicated holding phase effectively prevents shrinkage, porosity, and microcracks while improving joint density and tensile strength.
