Product Overview

The XHJL306 split type SF6 leak detector is a qualitative gas leakage detection instrument for sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) equipment. It works on the principle that fluctuations in the concentration of SF6 in the air lead to corresponding changes in how much the mixed gas is ionized when subjected to a high-frequency electromagnetic field. By testing the ionization degree, the instrument accurately gauges the SF6 concentration present. With a separate probe and main unit design, a small vacuum pump draws gas samples through a 4-meter pipe, making it easy to reach tight spaces around GIS chambers, circuit breakers and pipe connections for reliable leak detection.
