The original German imported self-locking connector links the probe to the SF6 port of the breaker or GIS unit, keeping the sample gas fully sealed with no leakage during the whole test.
The sensor stabilises quickly and the color LCD tracks the dew point curve in real time, showing dew point, micro moisture in ppm, ambient temperature and humidity together with the time and date.
Each measurement completes in about five minutes, can be saved as one of up to 200 test records, and exported to a computer through the RS232 port for reporting.
It measures the dew point of SF6 (sulfur hexafluoride) gas used in high-voltage circuit breakers and GIS equipment. The color LCD screen shows dew point, micro moisture in ppm, ambient temperature and ambient humidity, together with the time and date in a single view.
A standard SF6 dew point measurement takes approximately five minutes, and the built-in memory stores up to 200 sets of test data for later review and transfer.
The dew point measurement range is -80 ℃ to +20 ℃, with an accuracy of ±1.0 ℃ over -60 ℃ to 20 ℃ and ±2 ℃ over -80 ℃ to -60 ℃.
