The XHTX206 transformer comprehensive characteristic tester is a new-generation revolutionary CT and PT testing instrument developed on the basis of traditional transformer VA characteristic, ratio and polarity testers that rely on voltage regulators, boosters and current boosters. Adopting a high-performance DSP and FPGA with advanced manufacturing technology, the instrument ensures stable and reliable performance, complete functions, high automation and high testing efficiency. It is a professional testing instrument for instrument transformers in the electric power industry.

Complete functions: tests excitation (VA) characteristics, ratio, polarity, secondary winding resistance, secondary load, ratio error and phase error of CTs (protection, metering, TP class), as well as excitation, ratio, polarity, secondary resistance and ratio error of PT electromagnetic units.
On-site CT verification without standard CT, current booster, load box, voltage regulating control box or heavy high-current cables, greatly reducing workload and improving efficiency.
Accurate ratio and phase measurement: maximum permissible ratio error ±0.1%, maximum permissible phase error ±5min, enabling on-site testing of 0.2S class CTs with a CT ratio measurement range of 1 to 40000.
With the optional dedicated current booster, outputs 180A current for convenient on-site current flow testing.
Advanced frequency conversion method tests CT/PT VA characteristic curves and 10% error curves; outputs only up to 180V AC and 12Arms (36A peak), yet handles CTs with knee point up to 60kV.
Automatically outputs knee point voltage/current, 10% (5%) error curves, accurate limit factor (ALF), instrument security factor (FS), secondary time constant (Ts), remanence factor (Kr), saturation and unsaturated inductance.
Tests comply with GB1208 (IEC60044-1), GB16847 (IEC60044-6), GB1207 and other instrument transformer standards, with automatic standard selection by transformer type and class.
One-key CT resistance, excitation, ratio and polarity test with the same wiring for all CT tests except load testing.
5.7-inch graphic transflective LCD, clearly visible in sunlight; rotary optical mouse operation; built-in printer for automatic test report printing; stores 1000 groups of test data without loss after power-off.
