This product is a 0.35mm-thick transparent PET polyester fabric, specially developed foroutdoor windproof roller blinds. Made from high-quality PET (polyethylene terephthalate) through advanced processing, it combines excellent transparency with outstanding physical durability.
Unlike ordinary polyester fabrics, PET offers unique advantages for windproof blind applications:
· Long-lasting clarity: Ordinary fabrics tend to yellow, shrink, and wrinkle under prolonged sun and rain exposure. PET fabric, however, maintains its original transparency and flatness over time—no yellowing, no shrinking, no wrinkling.
· Superior wind resistance: With high tensile strength (tested to withstand over 30,000 stretches without breaking), the fabric, when secured with track guide rails on all sides, can withstandwind force of Level 6 and above.
· High transparency, clear view: With a light transmittance ofover 80%, it effectively blocks solar heat while preserving an unobstructed view. Even when the blind is lowered, the indoor space remains bright and the outdoor scenery stays clearly visible.
· Eco-friendly and safe: Made from the same polyester material as beverage bottles, PET is non-toxic, odorless, and environmentally friendly.
· Excellent weatherability: Resistant to both high and low temperatures (stable from-25°C to 200°C), as well as acids and alkalis. It does not absorb water or oxidize, ensuring long-term durability against wind, sun, and rain.
· Sunrooms / Pergolas: Provides winter warmth retention and prevents cool air loss in summer with air conditioning, while maintaining a transparent view.
· Balcony enclosures: Offers wind protection, rain shelter, sun shading, and dust prevention without fully enclosing the balcony, while still allowing ventilation and visibility.
