Typically, these cables feature pre-terminated fiber optic connectors—such as SC or FC types—at both ends, enabling rapid and efficient optical circuit connections. Characterized by their single-mode, single-core configuration, high tensile strength, quick installation, elimination of the need for on-site fusion splicing, and low cost, these patch cords are widely utilized for short-distance indoor and outdoor connections; custom lengths are available upon request.

These cables utilize single-mode (or multi-mode) fiber cores—typically in single-core or dual-core configurations—and incorporate strengthening members (such as steel wire or FRP rods). The outer jacket is constructed from Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) or PVC materials, providing substantial tensile strength.
