The YINTU YT-Racked ESS-5kWh is a low-voltage LiFePO4 battery module for residential energy storage. Each module provides 5.12 kWh nominal energy, 51.2 V nominal voltage and 100 Ah capacity in a standard 19-inch rack format. Its front LCD provides local battery information, while RS485, RS232 and CAN interfaces support communication with suitably matched equipment.

This is a DC battery module. A compatible external inverter is required to connect storage to household AC loads. Solar charging also requires a suitable external solar inverter or charge controller. How the Battery Fits into a Solar System

The inverter converts stored energy to AC for the selected household loads. Grid connection, charging permissions and backup circuits follow the capabilities of the chosen inverter and local installation requirements.

Nominal energy describes the battery rating. Deliverable AC energy and operating time depend on the allowed state-of-charge range, inverter losses, load profile, temperature and system settings. The datasheet does not specify a usable-energy value.

Plan a dry, protected indoor location suitable for the IP20 enclosure. Check rack depth, module support, cable space, cooling clearance and the combined weight of the complete assembly before installation.

Which current rating should be used?

The datasheet recommends 50 A for charging and discharging and lists 100 A as the maximum continuous current. The actual system setting must also respect the inverter, wiring, protection and operating-condition limits.

Is it compatible with every 48 V or 51.2 V inverter?

Compatibility is not established by the nominal voltage alone. Confirm the complete operating voltage range, communication protocol, current limits and approved configuration for the exact inverter model.
