SMART BATTERY SWAPPING SOLUTIONS
AI Series 8- and 12-Bay Battery Swapping Cabinets for Delivery Riders
AI Series 8- and 12-bay battery swapping cabinets for delivery riders, communities and campuses, with scan-to-swap operation and battery identification. Detailed 500 W charging specifications apply to AI-6008-1 and AI-6012-1.
Product Overview
The AI Series provides a compact service point for exchanging compatible light-electric-vehicle batteries. Operators can choose an eight- or twelve-bay configuration to suit local rider demand, available space and the planned battery inventory. Mini-program scan operation and battery identification bring a managed exchange process to locations that riders already visit.
YINTU is a solution provider. We work with capable manufacturing partners to match cabinet hardware, compatible batteries and service-platform requirements for each operator. Equipment, battery supply, software, payment services and local support are defined in the project proposal.
Key Features
Scan-to-swap access for everyday rider routes
Battery identification helps the operator associate each exchange with the supported battery and service workflow. The datasheet states a 10-second swap time; actual completion depends on user handling, platform response and battery availability.
Choose the compartment that fits the battery
The documented AI-6008-1 and AI-6012-1 models use different compartment dimensions. This makes physical battery matching an early selection step, alongside the connector, charging profile and BMS protocol. An additional AI-6008-2 eight-bay variant is listed for project selection.
Managed charging and operator access
The documented configuration combines per-bay charging with an Android controller, 2 GB RAM and a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen. These components support the selected cabinet interface and service workflow. Charging settings must match the approved battery; output voltage, current and power limits apply together.
Protection, sensing and maintenance options
Project options include smoke, liquid and temperature sensing, battery-in-position and maintenance-door detection, electronic locks with feedback, status lights and abnormal-condition shutdown. Fan and heater control can be specified with the selected controller. The series describes individual-bay fire-control functions; the exact protection arrangement is selected for the project.
Connectivity and service customization
CAN / RS485, cellular connectivity, Bluetooth and remote OTA upgrades are listed as controller-dependent integration options. GPS + GPRS battery-tracking functionality is a system option. Confirm battery-side tracking hardware, network availability, service access and fees when defining the proposal.
Applications and Operator Value
Delivery rider hubs
Place battery exchange near dispatch counters, restaurants or rider rest areas. A stock of compatible charged batteries can reduce the need to wait through a full charging cycle. Size the cabinet and spare-battery pool around peak dispatch periods and return patterns.
Community parking and commuting routes
Provide a familiar exchange location near recurring rider demand. Defined access permissions, service hours and local maintenance responsibilities help the property manager and operator run the site consistently.
Campuses and business parks
Support approved electric two-wheelers and mopeds at designated parking areas. Match the battery fleet before deployment and coordinate traffic flow, service access and power supply with the site operator.
Managed local service points
Add battery exchange to an established mobility or maintenance outlet. Staff can support first-time users, inspect returned batteries and escalate abnormal conditions through the agreed operating process.
Battery Exchange and Platform Concept
A typical service flow starts with user identification or a mini-program scan. The operator platform authorizes the transaction; the cabinet identifies and accepts a compatible returned battery, then releases an available approved battery through the configured workflow. Returned batteries enter managed charging, while cabinet status and faults are shared with the selected service platform.

Dimensions follow the order printed in the datasheet; axes are not identified. Confirm the final installation drawing, canopy dimensions, access clearance and compatible battery envelope before selecting a location. The product photo illustrates AI-6012-1 and does not establish the dimensions or ratings of other variants.
Electrical and Controller Specifications
The following ratings apply to AI-6008-1 and AI-6012-1. Other listed variants require their own confirmed specifications.
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Applicable models | AI-6008-1 and AI-6012-1 |
| Rated cabinet input voltage | 100-240 Vac |
| Frequency | 50 Hz |
| Input voltage per compartment | 176-264 Vac |
| Output voltage per compartment | 40-72 V |
| Input current per compartment | To be confirmed |
| Output current per compartment | 1-10 A |
| Rated power per compartment | 500 W |
| Operating system | Android |
| RAM | 2 GB |
| Display | 7-inch capacitive touchscreen |
| RS232 serial ports | 4 channels |

| Other interfaces | Audio, power amplifier, HDMI, LVDS |
Configuration notes: The datasheet lists 100-240 Vac at cabinet level and 176-264 Vac per compartment. Confirm the actual charger input arrangement and approved site supply. Total cabinet input power and simultaneous charging capacity are not specified; do not calculate feeder sizing solely by multiplying bay count by 500 W. The source marks the per-bay input current as unconfirmed because its original unit is invalid. The additional serial designation “R485” also requires confirmation.
Project Selection and Deployment
Match the battery fleet
Provide battery dimensions, mass, connector layout, chemistry, charging limits and BMS protocol. Confirm compatibility through the agreed technical review and sample verification.
Size the operating service
Define expected daily exchanges, peak arrival periods, charged-battery availability and the spare-battery pool. Bay count alone does not determine swaps per day or charging throughput.
Confirm the installation site
Check electrical supply, protection, earthing, installation clearances and access for maintenance. The sheets do not provide an IP rating or operating-temperature range; confirm suitability for the planned site. A canopy alone does not establish unrestricted outdoor use.
Agree the software and support scope
Specify operator access, user language, payment provider, connectivity, remote updates, subscription or rental workflow and local service responsibilities. Confirm which hardware, batteries, software services and commissioning activities are included.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can these cabinets work with any electric two-wheeler battery?
Compatibility is project-specific. Physical dimensions, connector, charge profile, voltage limits and BMS communication must all match. A battery fitting inside the compartment is not sufficient on its own.
Are batteries and platform services included?
The datasheets describe cabinet and service capabilities, not a fixed supply bundle. YINTU confirms cabinet hardware, battery quantities, platform access, payment integration and service coverage in the quotation.
Does every model use a 500 W charger and the same controller?
No. The detailed ratings shown here apply only to AI-6008-1 and AI-6012-1. Other variants and charging options require separate confirmation.
Can the system be customized for our rental network?
YINTU coordinates the selected cabinet appearance, battery interface and service-platform requirements with manufacturing partners. Final features, software compatibility and delivery scope are agreed before order confirmation.
