Permeation and Protection Principles (Physical and Chemical Principles):
Absolute Barrier: The dense amorphous structure of glass makes it an ideal physical barrier. The strong bond forces between its molecules and the extremely low porosity can completely prevent the penetration of gas molecules (such as oxygen) and organic solvent molecules (such as alcohol, fragrance) from passing through. This means that the aroma molecules are effectively "locked" inside the bottle and cannot diffuse out through the bottle wall.
