The working principle of this machine is simple. When slurry is fed into the magnetic field area, the strongly magnetic minerals adsorb onto the surface of the drum, while the weakly magnetic and non-magnetic minerals are thrown off and discharged. The drum can be equipped with three types of troughs, namely, downstream trough (CTS), countercurrent trough (CTN), and semi-countercurrent trough (CTB), to meet different separation requirements.
