Why choose 7.5 mil thickness instead of a thinner film?
The 7.5 mil (about 190 micron) build gives noticeably better protection against stone chips, scratches and minor impacts, while the aliphatic TPU keeps the film flexible enough to wrap curved panels smoothly. Thinner films protect less and are more likely to show through dents and marks.
Will the color fade or turn yellow after years of sun exposure?
No. The film uses an aliphatic TPU substrate and a stable color coating instead of simple dyes, so it resists UV yellowing and keeps its tone much longer than PVC or PET wraps. With normal care the color and gloss stay stable for 5+ years.
How do I care for the film after installation?
Wash the car with neutral shampoo and soft cloths or a gentle pressure washer. Avoid abrasive polishes and harsh solvents on the surface. If a light scratch appears, pour warm water over it or use a heat gun at low temperature and the film will heal itself.
Can it cover complex parts like bumpers, mirrors and door handles?
Yes. The film has strong stretch and good conformability, so experienced installers can wrap curved and recessed areas without gaps. We recommend professional installation with a dust-free environment for the best finish and longest life.
