Details:
Colorless transparent liquid with characteristic odor is miscible with most ordinary organic solvent. Its solubility is 1.7% in 20oC, slight watersoluble, gravity 0.813, chemical properties stability, and high content of active ingredients.
Application:
4-methyl-2-pentanol is an excellent mid-boiling point solvent. Mainly used as solvent dyes, oil, rubber, resin, paraffin wax, nitrocellulose and ethyl cellulose, and nitrocellulose lacquer is used as an inert solvent, to increase the coating's gloss and smoothness, improved performance redness; as a solvent and other additives in the manufacture of lubricants. Raw materials for organic synthesis, mineral flotation lotion, such as extraction of silicon and copper sulfate; also used brake fluid.
