Application:
Depressant D485 is a high-performance flotation reagent designed to address the challenges posed by carbon in non-ferrous metal ores. This product selectively suppresses carbon-rich minerals, including fine graphite and cryptocrystalline graphite, which can otherwise interfere with the flotation process. By preventing carbon contamination in concentrates, D485 significantly improves flotation efficiency, leading to higher purity and better recovery rates of valuable metals.
Dosage:
D485 is formulated into a 2% concentration solution and is added during the flotation process as a depressant. The recommended dosage varies based on specific ore conditions but is typically applied at this concentration level for optimal results.
