This 4 square single core photovoltaic cable has a nominal cross section of 4mm2, model PV1-F, and rated current of 55A. The number of cores is NO. 1 with a copper wire structure 56/0.28. The outer diameter of conductor stranded is 2.60mm with a small wall thickness of 0.5mm for both the insulation and sheath. As such, the outer diameter of finished wire is 6.1±0.1mm, and the conductor resistance (20℃) is ≤ 5.09Ω/km upon a test voltage of 6.5/5Nobreakdown.
The rated temperature of the cable is -40~﹢90℃ with a conductor temperature of ﹢120℃ and a reference short-circuit allowable temperature of 200℃5S. Its service life of more than 25 years is promising, with a rated voltage of DC: 1.8kv ACU. /U:0.6/1kv and a working voltage of AC/DC (KV): 0.6~1.0/1.8. It is UV resistant and flame retardant, with a single vertical burning test passing the IEC60332-1. Additional tests, such as the daylight resistance test HD605/A1 and the ozone resistance test EN50396, have also been successful. Furthermore, its smoke density complies with IEC61034, EN50268-2, and its release of halogen acid pass the IEC670754-1 EN50267-2-1 requirements.
