Product Introduction
ASTM A36 is the most commonly used mild steel. It is a low carbon steel, steel product with low carbon content less than 0.3%,it is considerably soft for easy forming, machining, welding. Heat treatment has less effect on ASTM A36 steel material. It contains some other elements including alloy element: manganese, sulfur, phosphorus and silicon. It has excellent welding properties and is suitable for grinding, punching, tapping, drilling and machining processes. The hot roll process means that the surface on this steel will be somewhat rough.
