The wide width hot rolled carbon steel coil with widths up to 2000mm is engineered for heavy industry applications that demand large-format blanks with minimum welding and maximum material utilization. Zhengde supplies these coils in Q235B general structural grade and Q345B high strength grade, covering thicknesses from 2mm to 25mm with coil weights up to 30 tons. The wide strip is produced with advanced width and crown control to maintain consistent profile across the full width, which is critical for subsequent plate flattening, laser cutting and edge preparation processes. Surface quality is monitored online to ensure freedom from laminations, scabs and edge defects that would be costly to discover after cutting. Each coil is supplied with mill test certificates and can be leveled, cut-to-length or slit to project-specific dimensions as a value-added service, reducing the customer's inventory and processing burden.
