The pickled and oiled hot rolled carbon steel coil from Zhengde eliminates the scale layer that normally covers hot rolled surfaces, exposing clean steel that is ready for immediate forming, stamping and welding. The continuous pickling line uses hydrochloric acid baths with precise speed and temperature control to remove oxide scale completely while preserving the base metal integrity, followed by rinsing, drying and uniform anti-rust oil application. The result is a smooth, consistent surface with controlled roughness that significantly improves die life, paint adhesion and finished part appearance. P&O coils are the preferred input material for deep drawing, cold forming and automotive stamping operations because they eliminate the need for in-house descaling and reduce tool wear dramatically. Available in thicknesses from 1.2mm to 16mm and widths up to 2000mm, each coil is edge-trimmed to precise width and inspected with online surface detection systems to guarantee a defect-free strip. This product allows fabricators to move directly from coil to press without intermediate processing, cutting lead times and work-in-progress inventory.

Pickled and oiled coils are extensively used in automotive body parts, wheel rims, compressor shells, gas cylinder bodies, appliance housings, electrical enclosures, metal furniture and general deep drawn components. The clean surface also makes this grade ideal for subsequent hot dip galvanizing, electroplating or powder coating where adhesion quality is critical.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceEach P&O coil is wrapped in VCI anti-rust paper, plastic film and protective edge rings before export packing. Zhengde provides mill test certificates and supports SGS or BV third-party inspection. Stock sizes ship within 7-15 days; production orders are delivered in 20-30 days.
