The 50W470 non-grain-oriented silicon steel coil is an electrical-grade material engineered for rotating machines that must convert energy efficiently. Zhengde supplies this 0.5 mm grade with a guaranteed maximum core loss of 4.70 W/kg at 1.5 T and 50 Hz, measured on Epstein frames for every production batch, together with a high magnetic polarization that helps motor designers shrink stator and rotor packages.
The strip carries a C-5 semi-organic insulation coating on both sides, and slit edges are deburred below 0.03 mm so high-speed lamination presses do not damage the coating. A tight thickness profile keeps stacking factors high and motor noise low. The grade is documented to GB/T 2521.1 and IEC 60404-8-4, and full magnetic test certificates support motor efficiency validation programs.

50W470 non-oriented electrical steel is used for rotating machines where efficiency and quiet operation matter: IE3 and IE4 industrial motors, EV traction motors, electric compressor motors, generators, wind turbine pitch motors, servo motors, and small power transformers.
Stamping shops use the coil directly on high-speed presses for stator and rotor laminations, and the grade is a common choice for energy efficiency upgrade projects.
