The SS400 and Q235B highway guardrail hot rolled steel coil is produced for road safety hardware manufacturers who run high speed roll forming lines. Zhengde selects continuously cast slabs with clean inclusion levels so the strip punches, notches and cold bends without edge tearing, and controls rolling temperatures to keep yield strength stable along the whole coil, which prevents springback variation in W beam corrugating. The material welds reliably for bracket and splice assembly, and Q235B delivers 27 J Charpy impact energy at 20 degrees C for predictable roadside performance. Mother coils from 2.5mm to 6.0mm are supplied either full width or pre slit to the 400-500mm widths used for W beam panels. Mill certificates and bend test reports accompany every shipment for project quality files.

This coil is produced for road safety hardware manufacturers: W beam guardrail panels, guardrail end terminals, crash cushion housings, bridge parapet rails, sign gantry posts and fence posts. The same forming characteristics suit steel door frames, storage rack beams, and general roll formed sections where SS400 or Q235B mechanical properties are specified by the project.
Zhengde supplies guardrail coils with EN 10204 3.1 mill certificates, bend test and impact test reports per heat. ISO 9001:2015 quality management applies, and SGS or BV inspection is welcome before loading. Seaworthy export packaging with rust protection is standard; stock coils ship within 7–15 days and production orders within 20–30 days.
