Structure and Working Principle

• The core structure of the system consists of a resin tank, a multi-function control valve, a salt tank and supporting piping.
• The resin tank is usually made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) or polyethylene (PE).
• It is filled with strong acidic cation exchange resin (e.g., type 001×7), which is responsible for adsorbing hardness ions in water.
• The control valves are mostly of full-automatic design, with integrated flow meter, timer and other modules, which can intelligently control the complete workflow of operation, backwashing, salt suction and slow washing, and salt tank water filling. When the resin is saturated with adsorption, the system automatically starts the regeneration program, rinsing the resin through sodium chloride solution in the salt tank to restore its exchange capacity and discharging the waste water at the same time.
