Contractors upgrading from 2.5mm² to 4mm² for bigger apartment distribution circuits don't want a flexible cord. This 3×4mm² uses Class 1 solid copper per IEC 60228, PVC sheath, and matches the cable lists used by Spanish promotores and Portuguese empreiteiros on residential fit-outs.

Compared to the 2.5mm² version, the 4mm² cross-section increases current carrying capacity by approximately 25%, making it suitable for larger apartment distribution circuits, small commercial panel feeds, and air conditioning power lines. The Class 1 solid copper construction ensures stable conductivity without strand oxidation issues.
