Tungsten Steel Milling Cutter is made of tungsten carbide, which is an alloy material made of hard compound of refractory metal and bonding metal through powder metallurgy process. Tungsten steel has a series of excellent properties such as high hardness, wear resistance, good strength and toughness, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. In particular, its high hardness and wear resistance remain basically unchanged even at 500 ℃ and still have high hardness at 1000 ℃.

Tungsten steel, also known as cemented carbide, is made of high-quality tungsten carbide + cobalt powder by pressing and sintering after formula mixing. It has high hardness, high strength, high wear resistance and high elastic modulus. It belongs to the powder metallurgy industry. As the teeth of modern industry, cemented carbide tools play a fundamental role in promoting the development of manufacturing industry.

According to the grain size, tungsten steel can be divided into ordinary cemented carbide, fine grain cemented carbide, sub fine and ultra-fine grain cemented carbide, and the newly introduced double Grain Cemented Carbide. According to the main chemical composition, it can be divided into tungsten carbide based cemented carbide and titanium carbide based cemented carbide. Tungsten carbide based cemented carbides include tungsten cobalt (YG), tungsten cobalt titanium (YT) and rare carbide (YW). They have their own advantages and disadvantages. The main components are tungsten carbide (WC), titanium carbide (TIC) and niobium carbide (NBC). The commonly used metal bonding phase is Co. Titanium carbide based cemented carbide is a cemented carbide with tic as the main component, and the commonly used metal bonding phases are mo and Ni. Cemented carbide has high hardness (86 ~ 93HRA, equivalent to 69 ~ 81hrc), second only to diamond, and good thermal hardness (up to 900 ~ 1000 ℃, maintained at 60HRC); High bending strength (mpa5100), good impact toughness and high corrosion resistance, chemical inertia and other characteristics that general alloy blades do not have.
Storage method of tungsten carbide blade
It is forbidden to write or mark on the blade with an electric engraving pen or other scratch methods to prevent damage to the blade body. The blade of the foot cutter is extremely sharp, but very brittle. In order to avoid the blade injury to personnel or accidental damage to the blade, do not touch the blade to the human body or other metal hard objects. The blades to be used shall be properly kept and stored by special personnel, and shall not be placed casually, so as to prevent the blades from being damaged or causing accidents.
