95WNiFe High temperature Resistance Tungsten Heavy Alloy Dies 

Tungsten Heavy Alloy Dies are heavy-duty tungsten screws because they weigh more than twice as much as steel. High specific gravity tungsten alloys are usually refractory metals containing W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu, and even W-Ni-Cu-Fe complexes. Rare earth/other metals such as cobalt, molybdenum and chromium are added to some tungsten alloys. Heavy tungsten alloys have a high melting point, are twice as dense as steel and more than 50 percent heavier than lead.

What is Tungsten Heavy Alloy Dies?

  1. Heavy tungsten alloys are mainly divided into W nickel-iron, W nickel-copper, and even W nickel-iron-copper series. In contrast, western nickel-iron alloys have better mechanical properties and play an important role in the defense industry and various areas of the national economy. It is a very important new military material in national defense industry, and is gradually developing into various civilian industries.

  2. Heavy duty tungsten alloys contain 90-98% high density tungsten (16.5-19.00g/CC). Nickel, iron and/or copper are used as metal adhesive substrates to hold the brittle tungsten particles together, making the tungsten alloy strong and easy to use. Fe-ni is the most commonly used additive, with a weight ratio of 7Ni: 3Fe or 8Ni: 2F

Application of Tungsten Heavy Alloy Dies

  • Die casting is a low-chip, chip-free precision casting process that can directly manufacture parts of complex shapes. Single process, high yield, no pores, saving raw materials, especially in iron metal die casting, the working conditions of the mold are very harsh, it must be resistant to high temperature, high pressure and metal flow corrosion, and can withstand corrosion, oxidation and thermal shock. High specific gravity tungsten alloy has good thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, and is a good die casting material. Compared with the copper mold, its service life is increased by dozens of times.
