Top-and-Bottom Latch
This top-and-bottom latch is specifically designed for aluminum alloy swing doors and screen doors. It is a top-and-bottom interlocking hardware component that uses an extended connecting rod to ensure the top and bottom of the door panel lock simultaneously. The main body of the latch base is made of high-strength zinc alloy through one-piece die-casting, while the drive linkage is crafted from galvanized steel. The assembly offers ample rigidity and excellent resistance to bending and wear. Even after prolonged and repeated use, the sliding latch remains precise and smooth, with minimal risk of jamming or looseness. The surface of the connecting rod has undergone a galvanized anti-rust treatment, providing excellent corrosion resistance; it is unlikely to rust or oxidize even with long-term use in humid environments such as balconies or outdoors.
The extended, adjustable connecting rod structure accommodates a variety of door panel heights. Simultaneous locking at two points—top and bottom—significantly enhances the stability of the door panel once locked, reducing panel wobble. The base features pre-drilled standard screw holes, allowing for easy assembly using self-tapping screws—no additional milling or machining is required. Simply slide the lever to extend or retract the upper and lower locking rods; operation is smooth, and maintenance is straightforward.
Compatible with various aluminum alloy door and window profiles as well as screen door profiles, the surface finish of the base can be customized to meet customer requirements. Suitable for both residential retail and bulk supply for construction projects.
