The Drying Rotary Dryer ZT-2.4x18 removes moisture from sand, slag, clay and other bulk materials by tumbling them through a gently sloping, rotating cylinder in a stream of hot gas. Internal lifting flights pick up the material and cascade it through the hot air, exposing a large surface area for fast, even drying. Wet feed enters at the upper end and dried product discharges at the lower end, and the moisture content of the output can be adjusted by controlling the gas temperature and feed rate. Heated by coal, gas, oil or biomass, the dryer is a robust, high-capacity workhorse for building material, mining and chemical plants.
