The LW108D is a blue-green algae online monitoring transmitter based on LoRaWAN wireless communication technology, specifically designed for water bodies such as lakes, rivers, reservoirs, landscape waters, and aquaculture. It employs an advanced fluorescence measurement principle, offering higher detection efficiency compared to traditional manual counting methods, enabling 7×24 real-time online monitoring and timely early warning of algal bloom risks. The device features a high-precision temperature sensor and automatic compensation algorithm, effectively eliminating the impact of environmental temperature variations on measurement results. Additionally, it incorporates optical filtering algorithms, providing strong resistance to external light interference to ensure stable and reliable data. Supporting standard LoRaWAN protocols and TDMA networking modes, it covers multiple frequency bands including CN470/IN865/EU868/US915, adapting to application needs across different global regions. The device comes with default ternary parameters (DevEUI/AppEUI/AppKey) at factory settings, but users can also customize configurations based on actual applications for immediate deployment.

Wireless Deployment: Utilizing LoRaWAN low-power wide-area network technology, it enables long-distance data transmission without wiring, significantly reducing installation and maintenance costs, making it suitable for remote water areas with no network coverage.
Precision and stability: The fluorescence principle combined with automatic temperature compensation achieves a measurement accuracy of ±3%, a resolution of 0.1 Kcells/mL, and a linearity of R² up to 0.999, ensuring reliable and accurate data.
Intelligent and Flexible: Default reporting cycle of 10 minutes, adjustable between 1 to 65,535 seconds; compatible with OTAA Class A/C activation modes, supports remote configuration and calibration via downlink commands, catering to diverse platform integration needs.
2. production process
The entire machine adopts an integrated sealed structural design, with the sensor probe undergoing rigorous optical calibration and temperature compensation tests to ensure the optical window is dust-free and scratch-free. The electrode assembly is completed in a Class 10,000 cleanroom to avoid external contamination. Each device undergoes a 48-hour aging test and multi-point standard solution calibration before leaving the factory, ensuring data consistency. The interface features fool-proof design with clear wire sequence markings for easy on-site wiring and installation.
3. Precautions
During installation, the sensor should be tilted downward at an angle of more than 15° to avoid being inverted or placed horizontally, preventing bubble attachment that could affect measurements. Calibration operations must be performed after allowing the device to stabilize in a standard solution for 3-5 minutes, with regular verification using standard solutions recommended. The sensor's measurement window should be cleaned periodically based on water quality conditions, using a soft cloth dipped in clean water or mild detergent for wiping. Harsh scrubbing with hard objects is strictly prohibited. Cables should be protected from excessive bending or pulling to prevent internal wire core fractures that could disrupt signal transmission. The normal service life is 6-12 months, depending on the water quality environment.
