The dry ball mill

The dry ball mill is a key equipment for fine crushing of materials. It is often used in industries such as cement, silicate products, refractory materials, and non-ferrous metal beneficiation to dry grind grindable materials such as ores.
Structural composition
It is mainly composed of a feeding part, a discharging part, a rotating part, and a transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, and electronic control). The hollow shaft is a cast steel part with a replaceable inner lining. The rotating large gear is processed by casting hobbing. The cylinder is inlaid with a wear-resistant lining, such as a high-manganese steel lining, which has good wear resistance.
Working principle
The material enters the first bin of the mill through the feeding device and the hollow feed shaft spiral. There are stepped or corrugated linings in this bin, which are matched with steel balls of different specifications. When the cylinder rotates, the centrifugal force causes the steel balls to rise to a certain height and then fall down, hitting and grinding the materials. The material after coarse grinding in the first bin enters the second bin through a single-layer partition plate. The silo contains flat lining plates and steel balls, which further grind the materials. The powder is discharged through the discharging grate plate to complete the grinding.
Performance characteristics
Strong adaptability: It can handle a variety of metal and non-metallic ores, such as green limestone, hematite and more than 200 other ores. It can be used for open-flow grinding or circulating ring grinding with a powder selector. It can also be used for drying and grinding.
High production capacity: The production capacity is generally 0.65-615t/h. Different specifications correspond to different production capacities. Large-sized equipment can greatly increase production.
High crushing ratio and easy control of fineness: The crushing ratio is usually more than 300, which can effectively crush the materials. The product fineness can be controlled by adjusting the speed and grinding body configuration.
Stable operation: The operation rate is generally over 85%, the operation is stable, and it can meet the needs of continuous production.
Environmental protection and energy saving: Negative pressure operation can reduce dust pollution; some low-energy motors are used to save energy and reduce consumption.
Structural design advantages: The grooved annular liner increases ball-ore contact, strengthens grinding, improves ore capacity, and reduces energy consumption; the cone design at the discharge end increases the volume, allows material and steel balls to be graded, and enhances repeated grinding effects.
