The pelletizing rotary kiln

The pelletizing rotary kiln is one of the main equipment in the metallurgical pelletizing project. It is used together with the chain grate and the ring cooler to solidify the particles discharged from the tail of the chain grate at 850°C. It also performs high-temperature baking. The pelletizing rotary kiln is mainly used for magnetization roasting of lean iron ore in steel plants in the metallurgical industry; oxidation roasting of chromium and nickel iron ores; roasting of high metallurgical ores in refractory plants, roasting of clinker and aluminum hydroxide in aluminum plants; and roasting of chromium ore sand and chromium ore powder in chemical plants.

Working Principle of Pelletizing Rotary Kiln
The roasting and agglomeration process of pellet ore is completed in the rotary kiln. After being preheated by the chain grate, the pellets are fed into the rotary kiln through the shovel plate and the feed chute, rolling along the outer periphery of the rotary kiln and moving axially toward the kiln head. A specially designed double adjustable telescopic natural gas burner is installed at the kiln head, and the flame length is adjusted by adjusting the gas-to-gas ratio to control the amount of gas.
At the same time, the nearly 1100°C gas from the cold section of the ring cooler is heated to 1100°C. The hot exhaust gas is introduced into the kiln head cover as supplementary secondary air to ensure the required baking temperature in the kiln. The pellets are mainly subjected to heat radiation in the kiln and are baked while rolling to obtain uniform baking. The baking temperature of the pellets is usually 1250-1300°C. The baking time is usually 25-35 minutes.

1. Advanced scale and labyrinth combination seals make the air leakage rate lower, production efficiency higher and energy consumption lower.
2. Imported hydraulic motor as the power device makes the pelletizing rotary kiln highly reliable, has a long trouble-free working time, and realizes stepless speed regulation and low-speed stability. Moreover, the starting torque is large, and it can be started frequently at full load without affecting the power grid.
3. High-strength split large gears are used to improve the casting quality of gears and realize super-finishing; materials are used to improve wear resistance, which is convenient and fast to install, simple to maintain and easy to transport.
4. The wireless temperature measurement system is combined with the linear barrel scanning system to realize non-contact real-time detection of the surface temperature of the entire barrel of the rotary kiln. And the actual temperature in the barrel can be detected wirelessly.
5. The centralized intelligent lubrication system is used to centrally control the jet lubrication, wheel hydraulic station, and dry oil lubrication station, making the pelletizing rotary kiln more convenient to operate and simpler to maintain.
6. Advanced processing technology is adopted, and key components adopt advanced finite element analysis, and optimized design and proprietary manufacturing technology are adopted. Improve the service life and service life of key components.
