The Heat Pump Buffer Tank is designed to add thermal storage capacity to hydronic heating and cooling systems. By increasing the water volume within the system, it helps smooth temperature fluctuations and provides a more stable operating environment for heat pumps and other heating sources.
It is suitable for residential, commercial, and light industrial HVAC systems where stable water temperature and flexible system operation are important.
Heat pump systems can experience frequent start-stop operation when the system water volume is relatively small or when heating and cooling demand changes quickly. A buffer tank adds additional thermal mass to the water circuit, helping reduce rapid temperature changes and unnecessary cycling.
This makes the tank a useful component for systems using:

The tank can be incorporated into various hydronic system layouts according to the required water volume, connection size, and heat source configuration.

To accommodate different project conditions, the inner tank is available in SUS304, SUS316L, and Duplex 2205.
The external casing can be supplied in painted galvanized steel or SUS304 stainless steel, providing different options for installation environments and project requirements.
The tank is rated for a maximum working pressure of 8 bar.
The buffer tank is equipped with 45mm or 50mm HCFC-free foam insulation. The insulated construction helps reduce heat loss from the stored water and supports more consistent system temperatures during operation.
Optional electric heating elements are available in 1.5kW, 3kW, and 4kW configurations, with an optional thermostat for additional temperature control.
