Excellent corrosion resistance in various environments
High chromium content provides superior aqueous corrosion resistance
Excellent performance at normal temperatures with good resistance to oxidizing and carburizing atmospheres
Heat Resistance
Good oxidation resistance in intermittent service up to 1040°C and continuous service up to 1150°C
Excellent resistance to thermal fatigue and cyclic heating
Ideal for applications involving sulphur dioxide gas at elevated temperatures
Recommended for use above 800-900°C, beyond the effective range of 304H and 321 grades
Continuous use in 425-860°C range not recommended due to carbide precipitation when aqueous corrosion resistance is required
