The RD79-6M 79GHz Barrier Gate Radar Sensor provides advanced anti-crush protection and trigger detection for parking barrier gates, entrance and exit management systems, parking lots, underground garages, and vehicle access control systems.
This 79GHz millimeter wave radar sensor detects vehicles or pedestrians within the barrier arm zone, enabling safer lifting and lowering actions. Compared to traditional loop detectors or infrared sensors, the RD79-6M utilizes 79GHz LFM-CW radar technology with a 2T4R antenna structure, delivering high distance resolution, accurate target detection, and stable operation in outdoor or complex parking environments.
The radar supports multiple barrier arm types including straight arm, folding arm, fence barriers, and advertising barriers. It features multiple detection modes: anti-crush mode, trigger mode, and inclined-mount trigger mode. With Bluetooth app configuration and RS485 communication, installers can conveniently adjust parameters during project commissioning.
