The Pilz 772100 is the base unit for the PNOZmulti 2 configurable safety controller system. It serves as the central processing module for building modular machine safety systems. Operating on 24V DC, it provides 20 safe digital inputs and 4 safe semiconductor outputs. This unit is designed for flexible expansion with PNOZmulti 2 I/O modules and is programmed via PNOZmulti Configurator software to implement safety functions such as E-STOP, safety gates, and two-hand control.
Modular Expandability: Base unit for the PNOZmulti 2 system, allowing expansion with additional I/O modules (e.g., 772101, 772110) for larger safety applications.
High Safety Level: Capable of achieving Performance Level e (PL e) and SIL 3 depending on the configuration and wiring.
Integrated Logic: Replaces multiple standalone safety relays with a single programmable unit, reducing cabinet space and wiring complexity.
