Product Overview
The Festo ADN-63-50-A-PPS-A is a double-acting compact pneumatic cylinder compliant with ISO 21287. It features a 63 mm bore, 50 mm stroke, adjustable pneumatic cushioning (PPS) at both ends, and a male piston rod thread (A). The piston includes an integrated magnet ring for position sensing with proximity switches. This space-saving design is approximately 50% shorter than an equivalent ISO 15552 cylinder, ideal for confined machine areas.
ISO 21287 Compliance: Standardized dimensions ensure interchangeability and smaller footprint than ISO 15552 cylinders.
Magnetic Piston: Built-in magnet allows easy mounting of slot-type proximity sensors (e.g., Festo SME/SMT series).
Adjustable Pneumatic Cushioning: PPS cushions absorb impact energy and reduce noise—adjustable via hex key for different loads/speeds.
Male Rod Thread: Simplifies direct attachment of clevis, eye, or custom tooling without adapter nuts.
