The SICK RE13-SAC is a non-contact magnetic safety switch from the RE1 series, designed for safety door and guard monitoring. It features 2 normally open (NO) safety contacts and operates via a coded magnetic actuator, providing reliable position detection without mechanical wear. With an IP67 rating and compact design, it is suitable for harsh industrial environments and achieves safety levels up to PL e / Category 4 when used with a certified safety relay.
Non-Contact Operation: Magnetic reed technology ensures long service life (B10d~2×10⁷ cycles) and eliminates mechanical wear, providing high reliability for frequently operated doors.
High Safety Integrity: Designed to meet Type 4 standards with low coding level, enabling use in safety circuits up to Performance Level e (PL e) according to EN ISO 13849.
