The cooler is also deployed in spent acid regeneration plants, copper smelter gas cleaning systems, and phosphate fertilizer complexes where concentrated sulfuric acid heat recovery is critical to process economics. Additionally, its low pressure drop characteristics make it the preferred choice for retrofit projects where existing pumping infrastructure limits the allowable pressure loss across the cooling circuit, enabling capacity upgrades without requiring pump replacements.

Packaging & Quality Assurance

Each CD-AP-400 cooler undergoes a rigorous quality assurance program prior to shipment. All materials are sourced from ISO-certified mills with full mill test certificates provided. Fabrication is performed by ASME-certified welders under a qualified welding procedure specification. Every unit is hydrostatically tested on both shell and tube sides at 1.5 times design pressure, followed by a helium mass spectrometer leak test to confirm zero detectable leakage.
