Glossy pouch laminating film is the most popular and suitable for nearly all general laminating applications, while matte pouch laminating film is recommended under these circumstances:
Afterprinting offers pouch lamination film thickness from 60micron to 250micron, with 125micron and 150micron being the most popular. The most common sizes are A3 (303*426mm) and A4 (216*303mm), with customized sizes available upon request.
Pouch laminating film is a pre-laminated material used as a protective layer for paper materials or photos. It consists of polyester film coated with hot melt EVA adhesion in advance, which bonds to paper material during the laminating process when heat is applied.
Pouch laminating film is used for making simple and smaller laminates. It's commonly used to laminate ID cards, tags, and small paper materials. The lamination width is limited in pouch laminators, making this method particularly useful in offices and home settings.
Laminating equipment for laminating pouches is user-friendly and requires no special training to operate. Heat-sensitive laminating film is used for pouch lamination. The sheet with lamination films passes through heated rollers, and due to the effect of heat, it sticks together. Heated rollers move at reasonable speeds while applying pressure on the laminate. Both pressure and temperature contribute to the bonding strength of the laminating pouch.
