The AiLF P20 is an open-path laser methane monitoring system designed for continuous detection of methane leaks across pipelines, gas storage facilities, and other industrial sites. Its pan-tilt mechanism enables automated scanning of multiple directions or predefined monitoring routes, allowing one system to continuously survey a wider area.
Using TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy), the P20 remotely measures methane along the optical path and provides fast detection for continuous leak monitoring. The system is designed for 24/7 unattended operation, supporting long-term surveillance without requiring operators to remain at the monitoring location.
The P20 integrates gas detection, scanning control, route management, data recording, alarm functions, and network communication into one monitoring platform. Multiple units can be connected through a centralized network, allowing operators to monitor gas detection data and alarm events from a central location.
Built for outdoor industrial deployment, the P20 supports operation in demanding environments and includes transmitter and receiver self-test, auto-zero, internal signal processing, heated optics, non-volatile memory, and real-time clock functions for reliable long-term monitoring.
With its low-power design, the P20 can support solar-powered deployments and remote connectivity, making it suitable for fixed monitoring points where continuous methane surveillance is required.
The P20 is suitable for natural gas pipeline monitoring, gas storage facilities, oil & gas sites, refineries, chemical plants, energy infrastructure, landfill and biogas monitoring, and other industrial gas leak detection applications.
