This is the Hitachi-type air suspension compressor for the Land Rover Discovery 3 (LR3, 2005–2009), Discovery 4 (LR4) and the Range Rover Sport (2009–2012 per the supplier fitment) — the old-style 6-pin Hitachi unit that keeps the air springs pressurised.
One thing worth knowing on this line: Land Rover switched compressor suppliers over the production run, so the old cars take the 6-pin Hitachi version while later ones run the AMK-style unit. LR023964 is the Hitachi stamp — if your customer's car has the 6-pin Hitachi connector, this is the one they need, not the later AMK part.
