This rear‑right air spring is OEM replacement part for Kia, mounted on rear air suspension strut. It undertakes rear‑end load‑bearing, vehicle height adjustment and shock‑absorbing buffering functions. Adopting multi‑layer cord fabric rubber structure, it features high‑low temperature resistance, anti‑aging and anti‑fatigue performance. Original‑equivalent mounting dimension allows direct on‑site replacement without modification. It effectively solves common faults including rear air bag leakage, rear‑end collapse, uneven vehicle height and abnormal driving noise. Every unit passes air‑tightness pressure test before delivery to guarantee sealing performance after installation. A: If strut has no oil leakage and maintains good damping, only air spring replacement is acceptable. If strut leaks oil or loses damping, full assembly replacement is recommended to extend suspension service life.
Q3: What causes air leakage after installation?
A: Confirm sealing rings and air nozzle connectors are fitted properly. Lubricate sealing rings during assembly. Meanwhile inspect air lines and distribution valve for damage and leakage.
Q4: Can I replace only one‑side air spring for damaged air bag?
A: Technically workable. Pair‑side replacement is highly recommended to keep consistent elasticity and load‑bearing capacity on both sides and prevent vehicle body tilting.
Q5: What is the warranty period? Which conditions are excluded from warranty?
A: Standard warranty period is 12 months. Cuts by sharp objects, collision damage, improper installation and man‑made damage are not covered by warranty.
Q6: Can it be installed in ordinary repair shops?
A: Special air‑suspension disassembly tools are required. Vehicle height calibration is mandatory after installation. Professional repair‑shop installation is suggested. Violent knocking on base and rubber air bag is forbidden.
