Product Description

The Heavy-Load Nylon Plastic Wall Expansion Screw is a heavy-duty fastening solution designed for door frames, structural wall assemblies, and load-bearing wall fixtures on solid brick and concrete substrates. Each complete set contains an 8mm diameter PA6 nylon expansion plug pre-matched with an M6 x 50mm zinc-plated steel screw, providing robust fastening capacity for demanding structural applications.
 
Installation follows the established expansion principle: drill an 8mm hole to the required depth in the solid wall substrate, thoroughly clean the hole of drilling dust and debris, insert the nylon plug until its collar sits flush with the wall surface, align the door frame bracket, and drive the M6 screw through the bracket into the plug. As the screw reaches full insertion depth, the cone-shaped tail section forces the nylon plug body to expand radially against the hole wall, creating a powerful friction lock capable of supporting the substantial weight of solid timber door frames and wall-mounted structural assemblies. The impact-resistant PA6 nylon formulation withstands the high installation torque required for structural fixing without cracking or deforming under load.

Deep Thread Expansion Lock
The extended 50mm plug body provides a proportionally deep expansion zone that engages the full thread length of the M6 screw. This deep expansion lock creates multiple friction contact points distributed along the entire hole depth, delivering a significantly more secure and vibration-resistant fixing compared to shorter standard plugs.
