Product Description

The PA6 Nylon Wall Expansion Plug Screw Set is a DIY-friendly fastening solution designed for skirting boards, baseboards, and interior trim installation on drywall and plasterboard surfaces. Each complete set contains a 5mm diameter PA6 nylon expansion plug perfectly matched with an M4 x 25mm zinc-plated steel screw, taking the guesswork completely out of screw selection for home improvement projects.
 
Installation follows the straightforward expansion principle: drill a 5mm hole at each skirting board marking position, push the nylon plug into the hole until the collar sits flush with the wall surface, align the skirting board over the plug, and drive the M4 screw through the board into the plug. As the screw penetrates, its tapered tail section forces the nylon plug body to expand radially outward against the drill hole wall, creating a tight friction lock that secures the skirting board firmly and permanently against the wall. The plug body features longitudinal anti-rotation ribs that bite into the hole wall during screw insertion, preventing unwanted spinning that could compromise the expansion performance and ultimate holding strength.

Anti-Rotation Rib Body
Longitudinal ribs along the entire nylon plug body bite securely into the drill hole wall during screw driving, preventing the plug from spinning in place. Pre-Matched Screw and Plug
The M4 zinc-plated steel screw is factory-matched to the 5mm nylon plug diameter for optimal expansion performance. The screw length is precisely calculated to fully engage the plug's expansion zone without bottoming out prematurely or failing to reach the cone section, delivering consistent and reliable holding power on every single installation.
